YA Film School is a one-stop shop for learning how to make an independent film. Intended for middle and high school students, this program teaches you each step of the filmmaking process, guiding you from story to production to distribution, After the film festival showcasing student works, copies of each short film will be made available for rent at Westside Video, allowing the student to earn residuals as well.
Up to 10 students may join each cohort. Cameras, computers, lightning, sound, professional filmmaking software, and other equipment will be provided for your use as you write, cast, direct, film, edit, and master your film.
